You are wrong. BP has more safety violations than all the other major oil companies combined. They were fined record amounts after their Texas refinery fire and they changed nothing afterwards and the Gulf? spill was the result. The BP manager on the rig was rushing the operation and over ruled the other companies managers on several safety issues which led directly to the spill.
